The gravity bug is still there!

--- Quote ---Another thing I noticed is that single bots sink faster than multibots. Shouldn't multibots be heavier?

There is a bit of an issue with tie physics that causes this.

When an acceleration of any sort is applied to any tied bot, it shares the "impulse" with them by averaging both of their speeds.

This has the weird effect of making gravity and Bouyancy, less effective on MBs

In order to fix this issue the entire tie physics engine will have to be overhauled. Not a project to be undertaken lightly.

Numsgil:
Which is what I did in 2.4.  And PY is right.  It was a very major upheval of a monumental amount of code.

And not all of it is even working right yet.

Testlund:
I've just found out what is causing some bots to fall down. It's the Kenetic energy mode!

Testlund:
Now the problem is back again, nomatter if I have Kinetic mode on or not. I guess I'll have to upload my settings file for you to check it out.

PurpleYouko:
Your settings work perfectly on my V2.37.6. (Apart from being painfully slow with so many bots)
I see no evidence of any problem with gravity.

Not sure what to suggest now, other that a full re-install.
