hi,
is there a way to set a maximum population? I know you can do it for veggies, but what about the other bots?

1) Set dynamic cost with the desired population

There is no way of actually limiting the population. You can do what ikke said, or/and you can give the veggies less energy all together, or even turn that off. I usually have that between 1-5 "Veggies Per Cycle".

you could set the reproduction gene to not initialise if the bot's species population is over a certain number :/
