Another IM problem
« on: October 12, 2008, 03:38:24 AM »
I tried putting DB on my other computer, and it works, except when I try to use IM it gives me the error
"
Run-time error '76'
Path not found
"

What does this mean? Thanks!

How did you put it on the other computer?  Did you run the installer or just copy your folder over?  I'm thinking maybe there's some folders that IM needs to be set up, and the way you've copied it over interfered with that process in some way.

On the other computer, I ran the 2.1 installer and copied the 2.4 files into it. On the new computer, I ran the 2.4 installer without having a 2.1 base install.

Also, just tried a non-IM simulation, it ran for 20k cycles before giving me the same error.

Well, try the 2.1 installer first and see what happens.

OK, it works! So, disclaimer to everyone: Be careful with DB 2.44 "easy" installer.
