Colorfull spreiding circles.
Can somebody tell where those circles come from anyway, it looks like they're using it for some kind of movement. Or they're just moving in opposite direction everytime.

Those are probably "pofs", they're a visual thing that happens when a bot dies. Basically a bunch of do nothing shots are created.

Yup, their poffs. The bots may be triggering indirectly off of low nrg reproduction for propulsion.

maybe the bots can produce like a chaff kind of thing that other bots mistake for enemies. That would be cool.
