I cannot get this sim to crash using the most recent code. It loads and runs fine for me on 2.43.1. It crashes in vanilla 2.43z, but I no longer have the exact source for that version so I can't determine exactly what is causing the crash. I have added some protection code in the sim load code recently, to protect against a few boundary cases where virus shots could contain zero length viruses and several other such internal data structure problems that were theoretically possible. I've probably fixed the issue without knowing it. I'll do a little more investigation, but in the end, in the interest of time, I may end up resolving this bug fixed in 2.43.1 without knowing exactly what the problem was...
