How about you will add it for the next virsion?????, (I really fail to see how you can make a combination control without loseing  all the functionality I talk about)

I lke your ideas on the placement controls ...
hope to have time to play with it this coming week ...
and take a look at the code.
then I'll be in a position to give you some feedback.
