They all turned grey too.

Here's the DNA code

Who says evolution in DB doesn't work?

This thing started out as Destinatus preliator. Now take a look at its DNA. Unrecognizable

1100 or so mutations  :o

which version are you using for your sims?

Be aware that your mutation rates are probably through the roof, so your Muller's are ratcheting if you know what I mean ;)

I am not actually trying to run a sim. I am trying to break it.

This is running on 2.37.4 source code directly through the VB interpretter in project "Stable Platform" (see bugs thread)

Oh I know. My Muellers are ratcheting like crazy.

The weird thing is that the entire population appears to be mutating as a species. They all do the same thing.

Well, you aren't terribly mutating.  You're averaging about 1 mutation per generation, which is high but not terribly so.  The bots might actually be evolving (little deviation among the species I think is a strong indicator of this).

Until now I have never seen a population develop ties. I have often seen the odd one or two that get them but the trait usually dies out in a couple of generations.

In this set, every one of them ties to everything it sees.

Save those settings, they're golden! ;)

Absolutely bog standard. Didn't change a thing except setting all mutation rates to 500

Bog standard DP with bog standard Alga Minimalis. everything else at default.

Was there alot of motion going on before the bots had ties? I've seen them develop them in response to this sometimes. It depends on the bot most times, if it can TF it has to lose the ability before it can become a tier.

PY, can you tell me what your 'Bog standard DP settings' are when you have time?
