how do you make DNA so the bot swarms?

this next part is completly different

is there a way to half size robots? they could be used for tails.

You can make the robots move in large groups. Check out Alga Grexa in the beastiry.
it uses refaim and setaim to make it move the same direction as any robot it sees. This can have the effect of making them move as shoals.

Tail?

Maybe in V2.4 where Num has reset the sizes considerably. (not a stable platform yet though)

Bots' sizes in 2.4 are directly related to their stuff.  Like body.  So you have some massive bots and some itty bitty bots.

The best swarmer has got to be Fish School and its derivatives.  It uses some really simple rules to form some complex schooling behavior.

But do you think we could make something like a tadpole in 2.4?

Big heavy head and skinny wiggly tail

Yeah, in 2.4 it wouldn't be too difficult.

Just have one bot repro with like, 10 nrg.  The tail forms a permanent tie to the head.  Maybe the tail forms another itty bitty bot behind it so the thing could swim (I'd have to get swimming physics working of course).

The smaller bots will be, well, noticably smaller.
