Just wanted to post a link to some great looking alife/life related backgrounds from Digital Blasphemy. Thought everyone might want to take a look, at the very least they're a nice change from the standard blue.

I included as a sample a small image of the Protist bkground below(I tried to stick all of them up here at one point...let's just say Invision did not like the few hundred KB attachment).

I've also had fun and found great images using Google's image search.

Oddly both both darwin bots and digital blasphemy have the same acronym...weird :wacko:

I'm gonna wait till these are scaled correctly when sim's size is changed.  But digital blasphemy is pretty cool - they have some neat wallpapers...

Maybe we could find a way to link the colors of a background image to physical constants through some arbitrary function.  Then each background image is actually a unique physical environment.
