Title: No. of Mutations bug!
Post by: Greven on June 09, 2005, 10:50:53 AM
When a bot has mutated, the robot information window dont always show that a bot has mutated, ie. "Number of Mutations:", "Overall mutations" etc., showing
zero.

I am not 100 % sure, I will try check it again.

Yep I noticed this too, and fixed the bug.

Also, next version there will be a field in the mutations details that tells you whena mutation occured in game cycles.  That should be useful for tracking the rate of muttions (and seeing if evolution is more or less linearly paced or more random).

Are you mad at me for using the word game instead of simulation?

They're use is interchangable since the basic structure of a game and a simulation are identical, and indeed, a game is just an interactive simulation.  So while technically DB is not a game, referring to it as such isn't incredibly incorrect.
