Why is the search on the forum not working? It says it has been taking offline by the administrator, any particular reason for this?

Never has worked to my knowledge. I certainly haven't disabled it.

As far as I know it's actually been disabled by the people who host the forum.  All the settings from the admin panel should let you be searching.  I found a faq with something about searching being disabled but I'm not sure if that was for a local site or all the sites.
