anyway I made a bot that goes in a straight line but when it hit the side it doesnt stop it just goes of the edge of the sim and I never see it again
I expect it wont happen when I get home though.
but can I have some help anyway?

Your sim is toroidal.

Hit the pad lock button in the toolbar for DB and then zoom way out. It's possible your bot is pushing so hard it's outside the bounds of the world, and not getting pushed in hard enough to make it visible.
-
no its not torodial.
and I will try that.
these bots were made to go mindlessley forwards when they see nothing.
why they continue to spped up after they see the edge is something im not sure of (but probably a typo)

no its not torodial.
Yes it is. I checked it.

unless it made it torrodial without telling me it isnt

Its really easy to see. Just download the sim attached to the bug report and take a look...
-

Don't bother for this bug. Nums is almost certianly correct in that your bot is dirving into side of the field and you have to unlock the field to see it.
I was giving you a hard time to make the point that bugs like this one are bascially impossible to do anything about without a posted sim. It's almost always very bad form (and a waste of my time) to post a bug without attaching a sim, especially a bug that basically says "is this behaviour a bug?". I know your DB machine is not on the net, so attaching a sim is a little more involved for you, but I would be appreciative if in the future you could use a flash drive or your ipod or something to bring the saved sim to school...
