I came home from the pub a little while ago and feeling drunk and can'r go to sleep. I think it has been damn slow on this forum lately. I'm getting worried about Eric. He usually doesn't stay away from the forum this long. He's a good guy, like the rest of you. I think you are all good guys here. It's a nice forum to participate in, but I don't know how you can stand the 2.37 version. Maybe there is something with my computer that doesn't like that version. It keeps crasahing for me, and I prefere that extra stuff implemented in the 2.42 versions. I think Eric has a good idea about what Darwinbots should be like. he's a great addiction to Darwinbots. I'm also very curious about Nums works with the new version. I've been thinking about asking, but I also thought that it might take some time because God sent a lightning bolt into his computer. Lol. Maybe you did something God didn't approve of, Nums? Hehe Ok, I just wanted to say that of all the A-Life progs that are out there, there is nothing like DB. Other programmers whould do well to take a peek at what's going on over here, because I feel they are damn far behind. Despite all the bugs that causes me to rip my hair from the skull, I still love DB most of all. You guys are genious! Over and out!
Oh, my. I should sober up before I type anything.

DB 2.37...
Carlos had a great idea when he originally wrote DB, it was brilliant when he released it as open source and thanks to the fantastic group of people who have since been involved in its programming it seems to go from strength to strength!
I think DB is one of, if not the, best AL progs about as well. Also DarwinBots could have become a very stable program by now but it would have meant loads of those fancy bits like shell never being added.

We just need to find the next strong programmer who'll take all the spare fragments lying around and join them together.
I'd do it, but I'm taking a sabatical from DB programming at the moment

Well God is punishing DB and its users...
Back in May/June, my girlfriend broke up with me. We were really true soulmates, no doubt. Obviously becuase I spent to much time on modding Civ4 and playing around with DB and on the forums. So currently I am trying to change my life dramacticly, and that means staying more or less away from "EVIL DEVILISH FORUMS"
In addition I have got a new job at a software firm and my education is taken increasingly more time from me...
Hope DB will evolve further ofcourse...

Yeah, it sucks when your soulmate leaves you. I've been there. Had a girlfriend from Estonia and she came once to stay for a whole month so I thought it whould be ok if I just spend two days working on a song on my synth, but she got depressed about it so I had to leave it till later. Women needs 100% attention!
