The tenth International Conference on the Simulation and Synthesis of Living Systems is June 3-7 in Bloomington, Indiana. Is anybody planning on attending? I would be going, but I have to be in Hawaii. Darn.

I hadn't been planning it but I might be able to swing it. It's not too far from where I live. The main concern is cash (I have none :/) and someone to go with, cause I hate going to those sorts of things alone.

I'd be there for you bud, but (I so love saying this) I'll be in Hawaii.
-
Hehe, I'd probably go to Hawaii over Indiana any day of the week too

I'm a member. I'll be getting the proceedings (http://www.alifex.org/proc/) and I'll post the paper list here. If anything strikes anyone as interesting, I can maybe scan a excerpt and send it to them. I also just received the latest Artifical Life Journel (Volume 12 #1 MIT Press). Some interesting papers there as well (click here for the list (http://www.mitpressjournals.org/toc/artl/12/1;jsessionid=o7Saj2F-AJ39y_faZR)) and the cover art looks like Darwinbots only as triangles (it's a nanobot simulation showing self organization - you can kind of see it on the left of the page at that link).

Sorry I am on a different continent ^^

I'm in Missouri (which almost feels like a different continent sometimes )
I will be in Indiana on May 19th but I doubt that I could swing it to getback again in June.

Sadly I'm in Hawaii already
Which island are you heading to? Oahu, Maui or the big island?
