My avatar's stuck

I can't get a new one to upload  

Also, I notice that we now have upload limits. I thought that moving the forum would increase the space we had rather than limit it?

What sorts of limits are you running across?

The Admin control panel is seriously way more complicated than the older one, so I'm still learning all the controls.

I do believe I have a limit of 100KB for Avatars.  If anyone is actually bumping against this limit tell me and tell me what your picture's size actually is.

Try going without an Avatar, then see if you can upload a new one.  Maybe there's a problem in the transition.

Tried removing the avatar and then reuploading it. It didn't work

3 seconds ago I modified what I hope were upload limits.  I think it was only letting you upload 10 pictures before, among other things.

All such limits are hopefully now set at 10000.

When you post, under "File Attachments", it says (for me):

Okay, I've bumped the upload limit for actual physical space up to 50 megs for most users (though PY and Myself get 100 MB, yay for us ).

Tell me if that works now.

Woo, I uploaded a .jpg rather than a .png and it seems to have worked

I can't change my avatar either. The only thing that happens is that my current avatar gets weird.

HURRAY! I got it to work! The problem was I was using Mozilla Firefox and it doesn't work to upload avatars with that browser.

Very strange. I use Firefox too and I have no problems whatsoever.
