Yea a question is are the tutorials up to date? I tried using animal_minimalis and they explode right on spawning in. Or dawinbots simply shuts down

The wiki should be up to date.

How exactly is animal minimalis exploding?  Is it reproducing too much?  Or are you referring to the plant alga minimalis?

The newest version. Animal Minimalis explodes right at the start of the simulation. If I don't put anything else other than a veggie, Dawinbots shuts down

It's very probably an issue with settings.  How much energy is animal minimalis starting out with?  Can you post your simulation settings?

10 T_Perservans 30000 energy

I think it's either the energy settings you have or the costs settings you have.  What are your costs set at?
