Title: trouble starting a sim after reinstall
Post by: Henk on October 18, 2006, 07:38:43 AM
Hi,

I tried to install DB on my new laptop, but when I try to start a new simulation I get this:

This prevents me from starting a new sim, as I keep on getting 'error, division by zero'  errors, probably due to wrong settings or the abcense of some...

I think it would be a good idea to include a default settings file with DB installs so that new users can get a simlulation up and running

Good suggestion.  I will spend some time on this area for the next release.  One goal I have is to make the program more forgiving so I will try to make sure that it will run just fine without any default settings file I.e. that if no default settings file is present, the program itself chooses settings that make sense and for Darwin's sake, don't crash the thing!
