Exacly what can a cell do with all proteins? I know it can do:
Store materials
Transport in the cell
Reproduce (of course)
Identify (By feeling what proetiens is on the surface)
Movement
Cant they also attatch to each other with them?

Yes, there are some connective tissues cells can form to keep themselves in a matrix.
I forget what they're called.
There are also "sacs" that can keep the cells all connected. I think Volvox has this.

I believe that cells do almost everything with proteins, since enzymes are proteins. they support the cell and form most of the organelles.
