Title: Mis-Spelled words
Post by: PurpleYouko on September 28, 2005, 02:19:19 PM
If you keep on accidentally mis-spelling a word and you want it auto-corrected. let me know.

If somebody else keeps mis-spelling words and it is really starting to piss you off, let me know.

Post 'em here and I will take care of the rest.

Yup and I do that one SOOOOO often. the fingers just seem to get out of sinc with the brain.

I keep getting my "e"s and spaces mixed up to so that "those dogs" become "thos edogs"

I HATE that!

My problem is that my fingers are too fat for most keyboards, resulting in multikey presses and keys pressed out of order.  Also, random key presses for no reason,.

For instance, this is me typing really fast:

This is me typing really fast without hitting the cackspace key, you cvan see its really crayp.

Wow, that turned out better than I thought.  Yay for me.

You know what I hate? I hate miss-spelling a word with another word that has real english meaning too.

witch = whitch

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

The trouble is what if I want to talk about a witch? there is no way to auto-correct that...

WAIT A MINUTE I GOT IT:

make a bot the comprehands the whole topic and determins what witch/whitch you are using. Brillient...  :shoot:

I've seen that same annoying thing in books and these have been presumably looked over by real people

They should come out with a contextual spell checker :)

Well, my mom was kind of half deaf, so she kept the close caption on. I grew a habit of reading the close caption and hearing the word said, than actually looking at the images. I suspect that's where my good grammar comes from. Either that or I'm just randomly good at spelling.

Oh god, My kindle has so many books with miss-spelled/mis-spelled/misspelled/mispelled (Not sure which one 0.0) words, It just drives me insane, because then you think you've missed a line, so have to go through the ENTIRE PAGE AGAIN, SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY!!!!
Mhm, I dont have perfect grammar, I dont see the need for it, but god...Some grammar, on a game someone was trying to be a Grammar Nazi and they said:
