when I download darwin bots it shows up as a .pdf acrobat reader file. how do I fix this.

pdf file?  What and where are you downloading?

thanks but it didn't work. it still tries to open it as a .pdf file but it cant.  if you have any other suppjestions please tell me. thanks again. :help:

How about I send you the file by email?

Can your email system accept a zipped file of 1.7 MB? And is it likely that the executables will be removed as viruses?

Already sent it about 5 or 6 hours ago. Go check it.

If it still doesn't work then there may be some clever tricks we can do , like renaming the .exe as .txt then renaming it back again once it is downloaded.

Incidentally, have you tried any of the files on either of our FTP sites? (use the links section to take a look there) If you can then I can upload the 2.1 installation files to the DB sites for you

Use the board's Personal Mail system.

I'm not always on the same email address.
