Is there a way I can set the program up  to automatically increase friction and decrease mutiations every million cycles?

I don't think the scripts extend that far.  Alot needs to be done with the scripts that aren't, unfortunately.

A while back I was brain storming about using the egrid to have different areas of different physics, but we are to far back in development and the bugs and errors are over our heads right now.

Actually that was the original point of the Egrid.  We just decided to tack more onto it as we delved deeper into everything.

Carlo's first foray into the egrid was so that we could do as Bots suggested and make different areas with different physical constants.

The idea was revisited due to the new ideas of metabolism so that we can have different areas of localized abundence of potential metabolites.

Also I wanted to be able to make physical barriers without using the traditional "wall" method so that we can get some kind of niches for specialization.

Loads of ideas. Very little actually done about it.
