Alright so, although my sim is not set to be an internet one, I keep getting a bug when I add new species that creates a non functioning bot that says "Species arrived from internet", that, when added, it removes the last bot in the rack. How do I fix this?
-
Doe it happen with every sim, or just a specific sim? If it's a specific sim can you add the sim as a attachment.
-
I will have to look into this.
Is this post 2.45.01 ?
Gide me trough step by step, tell me if this is what you are doing:
1.) You start a simulation
2.) You go back to the settings and add a new species, and click "change" to resume simulation
3.) Then you go and try to insert the species during the simulation
Am I right?
If no, please clarify further.
Also, what do you mean by "last bot in the rack" are you talking about the species list in the options?

Strange, I had it for a while, now it seems to work fine...
Here, try this version see if it works any better...

If you still encounter the problem give me the settings file asap.

I haven't used darwinbots in a while, but, something like that happens.

Hey, Use the version I just posted here. If it still happens, give me the settings file. Just before you start the simulation press save settings.
I was able to recreate the bug only once and I have no idea how I did it. That is why I need the settings file ;)

I'll just wait until the next version is officially released.
-
The next version won't necessarily fix the problem if we don't have a repro
