Title: Creating a new league
Post by: ikke on December 09, 2008, 04:48:10 AM
I have been thinking about the F2 and F3 league. It annoyed me that stupid use of poison and shell (on by default) outcompetes stupid non use (off by default). What I am trying to do is creating conditions where these two hold each other in balance and intelligent use gives the edge to win. I’m in the early stages and I have so far been screening cost settings by hand. I’m now at multiplying cost for shell and poison by 9. which runs into an 8:5 ratio with / without for my own bot. I want to try multiple bots over larger numbers of rounds and I would like to not do it by hand. I am unable to run a contest or league under non F1 conditions. Is this me or is it just not possible and am I out of luck?

Try unchecking "use F1 contest settimgs" in the "contest conditions" group.  It might not work, but I give it better than even odds it will.

This invisibly also deselects the league and defaults into a single game
