Zerobots breed wildly in an evo sim.
-
Yea I've had that happen with my zerobots too, I get it alot with alga minimalis. It apears as though there is a central axis of that grouping with a radial pattern emenating from the center. Also there apears to be a diamond pattern in the way big berthas are spread throughout.
Attached is a really cool mutation that I got from AM within 4k cycles of a torridal sim, it is pretty funny to watch, nothing I put it up against can stay alive exept tie feeders.
edit: Sorry guys, I didnt read the subforum it was in, my post is in the wrong area

The thumbnaail looks cooler than the actual picture! Sorta like a tumor or a galaxy

Very nice. Looks like action painting - something like pollockbots, I'd say.
By the way, speaking of art, I like very much EricL's db-nonsense signatures . EricL, you should post them somewhere to preserve them from periodic changing.

Looks like a neural net.

Just, how many of those little guys do you have there anyways.

About 6500 in that image I think though the sim hits the 10,000 bot limit occasionally.

when i run evosims, eventually it can only calculate .2 cycles per sec D:

Yeah, patience is required.

i once saw a bot net about 150000 cycles in though :) it was pretty exciting, until i found out that they had gotten wiped out D:
