I'm trying to make a bot capable of fooling conspec, and for this I need to know exactly what *.refeye does when:
a ) There's no bot in your field of vision
b ) The number of .eye commands changes while you're in some bot's field of view.
c ) does .refeye and .myeye count as an eye command?

I thought of an evil one   .memloc

It often only gets set once, and if any bot uses it for conspec recognition, it would completely screw it up, more often than not making it attack it's own species indiscriminately.

Noticed those attempts, too.  I don't think it's causing problems, though.  Looks like the failed attempts are separated by several seconds.

That's very odd then. An intermittent FTP problem that happened on the old server and the new server? The only thing common is the program and the domain name.

Many many gigs. But if you set up hard disk size limiting for the IM FTP user, that might have something to do with it.  If not, I'm not sure.

I cleaned out things quite a bit last weekend.

I didn't, I thought we'd try the http method. I have noticed in the security logs a whole load of bruteforce attempts on both SSH and FTP, most of them coming from the same 3 IP addresses. It could be that. Have you a time and date for when the FTP went down? I'll check it against the logs and see.

It's working!!  
Well, mostly. I'm still getting a lot of "Error Downloading Pop files" and "Time out disconnecting". But it works!

By the way, HSVirLight2 got smashed by heavily mutated SF2's almost as soon as it got in. Sorry.

Yeah, I'm getting the same messages. I think that's more a problem with DB2's code than the actual server though. Also

The main limit at the moment for me is the lack of power I can throw into DB. I've got a dual core, and a decent nVidia gfx card...only one of which is at half load. With multithreading and gpu acceleration for the math functions you could massively increase the potential speed. It shouldn't be too great of a leap to code it in either, especially since you're building it from scratch again anyway.

Have you got any of TA-183's SF bots? I haven't seen those yet.
