General mutations:

Mutation Rates of mutation rates should change other rates if set to 1 as follows:

This about a*rnd*9

26 --->  26 + 234*rnd

200 ---> 200 + 1800*rnd

if its over 30000 then its 30001 or 0

etc.

then backwords possible to
30001 - 49092*rnd   <----- 0

143 - 234 * rnd <----- 143

1100 - 1800*rnd  <------  1100


Fix less then 1 = 1

etc.

Now if if the mutation rate of mutation rate is high numbers make sure it does not crash the program.

The change of the rate itself should work as it is now, 100 mutation rate of mutation rate should be as powerfull as it is now change the other rates a little.


For the actions part of the gene:

*sysvars accure more often , different all different sysvars , not based on numbers of the program.

*Random numbers get "added" not only "changed" (20 30 store , 40 inc)

*630 <---- memory pointer mutations possible before store inc dec

*630 *200 add  <---- this  memory locations get "added" and "changed"

Its , ok I dont care if you dont make mutations work for cr , I will make my own simulators one day that do so... , Db is a good vedio game anyway... I love Db and the people who work on Db , they are like me a bunch of computer nurds with a lot of free time, If I was them I would only do what I wanted too, I cant blame them....... :boing: I like all the different smilys on the new board :boing:

Anyone here seen myth bosters? good show... but nothing beats russian the newspapers only the pills I have been taking for a year and half now make it hard to consintrate and actualy read them...

No I dont want to turn off the computer and go vacume and dust, knowing that I have maid 1% progress in Db since the release of 2.35,knowing that you can not make other people do what you want even if it is really inportent that they do so.

First time I ran somthing like pusher bots I has one plant in the middle, the robots were all instructed to get energy from the plant and reproduce or not get energy from the plant and die. As it turned out the max best way the robots can do that is to line up into a snake like structure and eat the plant one by one , like in a line for bread.

Why o why did I not record the settings of change of the first bot I maid that can beat me in a cr like one vs one. It was so cool:

The robot went next to the wall and attacked me from behined as the killer winning strategy , the cycles were so many that I had no time to react to that.. Never manged to simulate the same mutation rules since. Funny was that I ran it twice and it was always the same killer stratagy, then I started taking the pills , lost my programing skill... long sad story from there how I ended up here writing this... (Mom: So Paul are you going to help me or not) gess I have to go , she is really annoying now...

Ok never put all your mutation rates less then 200 , you wont get any overflows but the robots will mutate to fast.

Now to solve the fatal error problem in 2.36.2 do this: Put your mutation rate of mutation rates to 1, thats right to 1. I have no idea how or why that stops it seems to do so, I only ran one simulation maybe it was just luck, but hey try anyway.

In other news:

The rate of change of mutation rates is changing the mutation values to slow even if it is set to 1, strange things; the maximum change I got was for "delete instruction" witch was from 200 --> 220 , I want to see stuff like from 200 ---> 1500 if I set it to 1. It also should matter based on size:  

change from 200 ---> 1500

is only

change from 26 ----> 200

on smaller scales.

I am not sure if it already works like that, I have a feeling it does but the changes are to short the way I already explained. with a change of 1 its must be 200 ---> 1500 , 26 ---> 200 ...

I figured out how to run simulation toping 230 cycles \ sec :D and still know what is going on in the simulation.

The Problem is I tryed posting it in wiki but I am not sure were or how to post it, I also don't know how to sigh up into the wiki.

After running a simulation for 10- 15 minutes on high speed mode the following happens:

All hunters stop moving, all hunters start getting assined random angel of fasing, they look like they "jump-turn", non of them move although the dna clearly says for them to move.

The settings are as follows:

1-FirstBot (all mutations at 200 , sliders at defult) <--- My firstbot is in the bestory
1-Alga Minimaly(cant spell)
F1 conditions , (not F1 mode)

the new sliders do get saved correctly in the settings
the new sliders look cool
random memory locations do mutate in the "actions part of the gene"

Finaly, the top and the buttom portions of the dna condition mutate, I think I even seen robots generate there own random memory adress for the conditions part of the gene.

'Insert a new value' resets to "0" when you load up different settings or when the robot mutates its rates.

Robot does not save its mutation rates just like hash when you save the robots dna into a text file.
Please make this seporate from hash because I usualy remove the hash to run robots of the same kind agenst each other.
