Colorfull spreiding circles.

Can somebody tell where those circles come from anyway, it looks like they're using it for some kind of movement. Or they're just moving in opposite direction everytime.

I gues you're having these too, Eric. But just to be sure I post this. I thought this had to do something with overall IM-connection problems.
As you can see, I do get some bots in. Atleast the log says so, I can't find them back. But I'll trust the log.

Something that bothers me something too, are the low imports of bots. Only one bot at a time, is that becouse of your low bot-output or the con-problems.
If it is your small output, could you then make your teleporter bigger(if that is possible) I like transfer as big as possible.

And 'Shrinking Violet 2', was the first not bad enough.

Off Topic / US elections

1. I see in dutch newspapers often something about american elections. Becouse of this, it got a little of my interest.

2. I am a little bored.

3. I just found the poll option, and now I want to use it.

The elections for the final president is overall just between democrats and republicans. But I decided to just put in the rest.

There are possible some missing, I just took these off the dutch wiki.

In the enclosed sim you will see some MB lose their tie connection becouse the ties suddenly lost their hardening

Hmm, I don't seem to be able to upload?

Edit: file too big. Made a example sim, this shows the problem too. Maybe even better.

Just out of personal cursiocity

I gues I've got the most importent countrys. Atleast the ones I could think of.
And that fitted into the poll, it wouldn't allow any more countrys then 20.

Edit: made russia from rusia, changed other in USA. Becouse they came from it. And switserland was removed for other countrys.

DNA - General / A condition in one gene is having effect on another?

This is somewhat of a startup for a multibot. All the bot is supposed to do. Is just making a multibot with two bots in opposing directions.
Now it just reproduces and does nothing, if you remove that one line there is a bot directed in two directions.
Can someone explain me how this works.

Bugs and fixes / Error when loading the sim.

An error occured. Darwinbots cannot continue. Sorry. Invalid property value 380 0.

Ok it seems I can't upload the file it is way too big, I can't save it without mutations eather becouse I can't open it.

I was running 4 DB-instances together. I had saved them and tried to quit.

The computer was already going pretty slow becouse the DB-apps had filled the memory completely. I closed two of the sims manually with alt-control-delete to get some RAM-memory back. I suspect they could be still saving. Possible that is where the error came from. The sim file is 334Mb. I think that has to do with the many mutations. Can the list of mutations be made smaller. I think that is what uses RAM-memory too, and managed to get a memory shortage.

I often go accidentily over the icons of the DB-sims in my toolbar. Can it be set that it won't get stat easily out.

Well just see the picture, the right site of the sim is there but cannot be seen.

Sim and picture attached. I've got four duplicate sims with desame problem so if you want more you can get more sims.

Well, alright I saved the file without mutations, and upon loading I see still the problem.(I just saw the maximum single file upload size)

Suggestions / Graphs of everything

I started up a sim with some zerobots, in the sim I changed the delta mutation rate. Becouse of this mutation rates change, could there be new graphs of all kinds of mutation rates. Could be handy to see whitch types 'evolve' towards a lower mutation rate and whitch one to a higher.

That's what I get if I choose to continue the last sim. Lastexit.sim attached.

I get after a while error 52 if I try to start recording too. Not sure if the recording was kept up to date I can't really remember if it did run properly.[attachment=970:lastexit.sim]

Edit: not done jet, here is a error.sim with a overflow.  After loading you will get an immidiate overflow error.

Oh, and the blue screen of death can be avoided if you close the program fairly soon. Atleast that worked when I accidentily opened the sim again.
