Title: F2 ugliness
Post by: Botsareus on June 04, 2015, 07:30:58 PM
Apparently you can body feed trough a tie (-6) and it will be perfectly legal in F2 while normal energy feeding trough a tie is not allowed in F2. Also it will be like double feeding on energy and body at the same time because it is energy * 1 and body * .89. Definitely added to fix list before people start abusing it. Does mean I'll end up rerunning leagues from scratch at some point.

Does DB2 currently explicitly check for rules violations in F2 league matches?  I thought we were mostly self-policing it by examining submissions and seeing if any energy transfer/feeding was going on?

Yes it does. It even checks for a multibot during the MB league.

Somewhat off topic: Numsgil, want to consider starting a chloroplast league?
I can use the logic from Multibot to check for chloroplasts (just more strict)
If so, what settings do you think we want?
Edit: How about F1 rules w/o weather?

My hope is that chloroplasts can be balanced enough to make them work in F1.  I know there's a whole debate over chloroplasts in F1, if they're too powerful or not, but my take is that if they're too powerful for F1 they're probably just too powerful period.

Actually with weather added to F1 rules it is kinda balanced. Going to scratch it from to do list.
