What do '.paralyzed' (837) and '.poisoned' (838) do?

They are boolean logic readbacks that tell a bot wheher it is currently under the influence of poison (poisoned) or venom (paralyzed).
The way venom used to work was to temporarily paralyze a bot when it got hit by a venom shot. These days we are way more refined and use custom venom that sets a specific memory location to a specific value for the duration of the venom incident. "paralyzed" is a bit of a misnomer that has just never been altered to reflect the way it works now.
