This is ridiculous.

[Bots] if you prefer your method then why not keep developing it, improving on the observations [Num] has made. Since he is busy switching the code over, I'm sure it would be appreciated if you could improve upon the code and submit it to him to check, if he has the time.

[Num] or [PY] don't expect fanfares and threads writing their hearty congratulations every time they make a change. If you can't take criticism about your code or debate about it in a calm manner, then the issue won't be solved and people will end up hot and bothered.

If you and [Num] still disagree on the coding front, then I think it would be fair to allow your version to be given as an option for people to choose.

It's cool; definitely seems to work and the whole thing is very stable, I cranked up mutations and got no errors.

One thing is you might wanna include some documentation with it? Stuff like what the features are, what limitations you know of etc.

I know it's not a solved bug. It's in the forum to be corrected... That's the point.

Noone knew what bugs there were to fix before as they were covered in other threads about unrelated stuff.

I thought I was trying to help but maybe this isn't such a good idea after all.  :(

Sorry... the existing bugs forum doesnt let anyone post apart from mods.

I thought that since it was an actual bug it would be a good idea to move it.

If anyone finds a solution then it will be posted and moved to the solved bugs forum.

Is there any way to fix this though? The program will slow down when the DNA is too large. That's not a bug it's a fact.
