Title: Took me a while to realize... Eco evo broken!
Post by: Botsareus on September 07, 2014, 04:35:57 PM
In the latest version Billy's Evolved Einstein automatically self destructs during testing. I wonder if it is a bug or really nasty bot design.

It doesn't self-destruct over here, running normal sim mode. It keeps poking at my Shapehater bot but they don't shoot each other.

So maybe it's an eco mode thing and not a gene.

Ok, every time I extract a mutated Einstein and put one back in it refuses to reproduce.

Congratulations Billy! You are almost on par with Panda now at adding diversity to this simulator and my skill sets. No wonder Panda likes you so much. Fix soon.

Just raded Billy's post history. It is not too bad actually.
He is into zerobot evolution.
He is into leagues.
The only thing he can not stand is robots evolving further from the leagues really.

The awesomeness of the program will only grow if we get super strong robots evolving and trying to adapt to all sorts of environments.
