Ah.  I probably messed up some of the stand alone stuff when I added the lastexit.sim work.  I'll take a pass at standalone operation again soon.

The IM issue is a known problem.  Kind of.  We arn't sure exactly why some people have problems connecting but I'm working on it.   You should not need to open any ports or anything as long as out going FTP is allowed.  If bots are actually getting sent to the internet and just your own bots are coming back, it may be you are the only one runnign in IM at the moment....  I will fire up my IM sim again.   Try it now.

I fired it up, and I noticed a few Shrinking Violets in my sim, which I didn't have before. So it's working.

Now I have to disinfect my sim, though.

EDIT: Oh, silly me. It's working now. Sorry for the trouble.
What did you do to get it working?  I'd like to fix this...

Ran the installer. 2.43 worked without the installer, and I didn't see it the first time I hit the download page, so I didn't know I needed it until I looked the download page over more thoroughly.

EDIT: Blah, now IM's being funny. It is able to teleport bots from my sim to my sim, but that's about it. Do I need a port fowarded or something?

Hi, I'm new, as if that weren't blatantly obvious already .  I've been playing 2.43 all day, and decided to get 2.43.1d. When I did, it launched fine. Same as launch 2.43. Except, once it had launched, an alert popped up, saying "Run-time error: '76': Path not found". Since I'm a newbie, I had no idea what it was talking about. I tried deleting the settings folder, and any other files I had in the same directory as the program, but I always got the same result. And I figured that since I was a newbie, I should post it here, since no one else seems to be having this problem.
