Title: Plankton Kinetic (MB/Veggie)
Post by: gymsum on May 15, 2008, 09:21:48 AM
Update to tie system. Previous model made the groups spin irradically out of control.

made the bot entirely interactive with its environment. Good luck tie feeding from this bot.

Ive been testing the bot with no repro threshold, and lots of enemies with just one starting veggie. Uses the system to the earlier version, only now its mroe agressive and they no longer stare at tied bots. Very effective against every F1 bot I've tested, inclunding the MB Seasnake.

Reproductive system was changed, before blobs self-sexualy reproduced, now blob identity has been fixed. Also still trying to figure out why sometimes it does a velocity store..

Does the bot get rid of waste?

Code: [Select]
cond
*.readtie 0 >
*.robage *.trefage <

*.in5 .out5 > and

*.tin5 *.tout5 > xor
start

*.tin5 *.tout5 store

*.in5 .out5 store
stop

I'm guessing that you meant for tin5 to be stored in tout5 itself and not the reference. Whenever *.tout5 is 1-4 it'll cause the bot to move. Did you mean to compare *.in5 with the location of .out5 ? Not sure what you wanted here...

Might want to add a waste shooting or a share waste method, in the rare case there's more than the veggie can convert, not too likely to occur though...

Fixed. The waste issue wasn't addressed because evolution would prove which is better, waste sharing or poison production.
