Bug reports / Error 339? (solved!)

I just downloaded and installed DB2.1 & 2.43.1L . When I try to run a new sim in DB 2.1, it just crashes. When I try to run a new sim in DB 2.43.1L, I get this:

Run-time error '339':

Component 'COMCT232.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

----
This is on vista. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi everyone,

What is the usual outcome of an evosim? From reading other's posts, I get the feeling that bots end up regressing after "evolution", until they are unable to eat. Is there any way to escape this fate? Thank you!

Hi everyone,

Is there any way to get DB running on linux or macs? My computer isn't very fast (that's why it's running linux), so running DB in a windows simulator is out of the question. Can I run DB without showing everything on the screen (to make it faster)? Thanks!
