Title: the power function
Post by: Botsareus on February 23, 2005, 04:41:26 PM
Example of a power function will be

Quote
3.5
3
pow
20
store

it means

memory(20) = 3.5 * 3.5 *3.5

If anyone can provide a website that better explains the power function go ahead

We have a power function.

cond
start
2 5 ^
50 store
stop

plug this into a txt file, load it into DB, open console, and type ? 50

you will see 50->32

and you can't have digits in the memory locations.

Memory is in integers.  If you want more digits of precision, you have to use stack manipulations to get it.

F. ^ - takes the second value on the stack to the first value on the stack power.  Ie: 5 2 ^ places 25 onto the stack

You've read the readme for 2.35 right?  Because this is all in there.

"RYTH" confuses me.

I get as far as EVE and as far at the end as ING, but the middle throws me.
