Check it out (http://www.darwinbots.com/WikiManual/index.php?title=Elite%27s_Bot_Tutorial)
Explains intermediate-level concepts to newbies.

Very nice, thanks for the effort. The tutorials have needed doing for a while now.
I just skimmed it, I didn't really look in depth at it, but it looks very nice. I'll check it for errors later sometime if I remember.

Great looking tutorial B) All that's left now are the Tie-Feeder and MB. :D
Wiki-manual is approaching a finished stage finally, seemed like it would take forever. Maybe in the next vers a few html links should be added so users can jump to the forum or wiki if they have any questions.

That is a heck of a big file to put on the forums.
We only have a maximum storage space of about 5MB in here.
Could you (or someone) put this on the downloads part of the main web site.
-
Sorry
It was just mht archives of the wiki pages anyway
Hey Vrykro, go to the page you want downloaded on the wiki and press 'save as' on your file menu. Save it as a web archive file (.mht), then you can view it on your hard drive.

No worries.
I just have to keep an eye on that kind of stuff.
Actually I just went and checked and it turns out that we have more space left than I thought.
Our total upload limit (for Avatars, attachments, pips and emoticons) is 16MB
We have actually only used a bit under 4MB so we are still in good shape. :)

I could indeed find a lot of other solutions to get the tutorial on my non-internet pc at home. But not everybody who has db is prepared to go and search for everything. for them it is easy if when they download the install-patch they can also get the new tutorial with only one extra mouseclick.
apart from that great work done here

What are you proposing exactly?
-
He's proposing that we add the tutorials to the FTP (I think)
-
I could provide a link to the tutorials in the program itself, but I'm not sure I want to create "hard" copy tutorials since the program can change so dramatically from version to version.
By wiki'ing the tutorials we can be sure they're always up to date.

elite is right, I 'm just asking to put it on the ftp.
