Old Suggestions Awaiting Programming / Editor
« on: March 26, 2005, 05:47:48 AM »
Wouldn't it be great to edit and test bots in real time? With a build-in editor that could be possible.  them (
I like that radious circle around the bots, when you click ongot the 2.36 version from Numsgil). Wouldn't be also great to add eyes sections to it, like from eye1 - eye9.
And then to change color when they see something with their eyes.

And now somethink completly different!
Let me explain myself...

Quote
Kozmo, why are you pissed off? The idea to go in the direction of enzymes was accepted together by all people on the board. You've never raised your voice to argue against it. Were we supposed to guess that you'll be pissed off?

If you want your opinion heard, simply state it. People listen.

I thought, why bother?

Quote
K0zmo, you were the one to suggest O2 and CO2 in the first place!

I did, and as I've been told (not directly!!!), the air wasn't that important, so it should be in the backround. Just think of it it's there... That I didn't like... And I still don't like it now...

Quote
I understand k0zmo's irritation. The next DB version will be a lot more complex, and without proper documentation it will 'bounce off' "newbies" because of it's sheer complexity..

newbie? newbie? I'm sticking with DB since version 1.0

Anyway, all of you are missing my point... When you add new things to DB, dont make it too complicated, make it simple... Why must be there so many enzymes?
when setting what bot is going to eat, the program could autoselect enzymes ...

O.K. I'm starting to be very pissed about everything I read here.

Let us remember that DB is a "virtual world" - not "real".
So we don't need to be very precise.
I don't think there is a computer in the world, that can calculate every condition that exist in nature, so we should simplify it.
Let us simplify nature.
1. gather info
2. make it simple
As I know, DB 3.0 will contain CO2 and O2 levels (and other?)in the e-grid, but you can't see it. Why would you? The same is with enzymes. Why do we need their presence? Let's just asume they are there. Anyway, if we add to much stuff to DB, it's gonna become more and more complex, what meens, it's gonna become more and more unstable.

Nasty jokes

Girl: "Mom, grandma has a mole."
Mother:"Shut up and eat!"

Q: What is fast food for cannibals?
A: 100 meter sprinter.

Q: What is a pregnant woman to cannibals?
A: Kinder suprise.

Hitler: "Hi little girl. How old are you?
Girl: "Tomorow, I'll be three!"
Hitler: "No, you won't."

Mother and doughter walk into the store, but doughter doesn't have any arms.
Doughter: "Mom, can I have candy?"
Mother:" Well, go and get some."
Doughter: "But mom, I have no arms."
Mother : "No arms, no candy."

I could translate some more, but I don't feel like it...

Quite good... My music style is experimental electronic (with a little Goa, Psy)
I am building a web page now, where I'll post all mp3's...

Old Suggestions Awaiting Programming / Possession

Is it possible to control the bot and to record DNA?

Like: Program is monitoring the controls and then compares the controls and conditions.
         If the controls are repeating then the program looks at values and makes the dna

Example: We control the bot and shoot when we see veg. We repeat this 20 times.
                Program should compare the events and make DNA

cond
*.eye5 11 > 'Program monitors the controls and gives the average value (11)
start
-1 .shoot store
stop

What has got NO3 to do with it? Really,I don't know...

Why not do the same for ties, to shoot a tie at specific angle.

Dead-End and Solved Suggestion Requests / Reallowing delgene weapons
« on: February 24, 2005, 03:43:48 AM »
I have a constructive way to use delgene.
My form of specialization. 1 bots specialization into 2 different.

Code: [Select]
gene1

cond
*.robage 0 =
start
100 rnd 50 store
stop

gene3

gene 4

cond
*50 50 <=
start
*.genelen .delgene store
stop

cond
*50 50 >
start
1 .delgene store
stop

gene7

gene 8

gene 9

end

I belive, with right programing, Ican make multi specializations.

Erupting chemicals - H2S, FeS, H2, NH4, NO2, CH4
O2 and CO2 are still dissolved in seawater

CO2 + H2O + H2S +  O2  -> CH2O + H2SO4
FeS+H2S ->FeS2+H2+free energy

H2SO4 is soluble in water.

H2SO4  <-> H3O + + HSO4 -
HSO4 - <-> H3O + + SO4 2-
SO4 is dissolved in water

Specialization, Metabolism, Digestions and Env Grid / Photosynthesis

PY, is there going to be CO2 and O2 in the system? If not, there is no point talking about  photosynthesis, because without CO2 and O2, there is none.

Another thing: I like this point system. About as I can tell, this points should be multipliers. If bot uses all of his 5 points on a photosynthesis, then energy by   photosynthesis would be made more efficiently (more nrg) than energy made by storing only 1 point into photosynthesis.

About specialization. It's all in genes... that's about specialization we need. We set the first 5 points and we have set the specialization.

I love DNA. (Douglas N. Adams) I have read all of his books (Hitchiker 4x). I can't get sick of it. I think the best caracter in his books is Marvin. The HitchHiker's Guide Movie is coming soon.
