Would it be possible for the bots to have a different type of shot like a -9 shot that instead of hurting a bots memory location or taking energy/body from it, but would just do damage to the bot being shot at with no benifit to the bot that shot it. It could do more damage to a bots shell than a normal shot or also deal damage to a bots slime level as well. Maybe it could limit the amount of energy another bot could use on a cycle rather than actually taking energy from it. Just a crazy idea. In real life most organisms kill or do some kind of damage to another organism before they actually eat it.

It's a good idea. Shots in DB3's combat system will operate like that, actually.

In that case maybe in the future that shot can be like a shotgun type shot in which it shoots say 5 different shots at different angles like a shot gun. Or a sniper like shot with longer range but it can only be fired once every so many cycles (it has to "recharge"). Come to think of it bots could specialize in a bunch of different types of shots each with their own pros and cons. Just another crazy idea.

Is DB3 still using the specialized cell structure with fat and such? I think that shot function could be controlled in a similar manner (glands or such). All ideas for later versions of course.

I still like the idea of using different muscles for different activities and the like. So you could have a shot organ which is different from your movement organ, for instance, with different levels of specialization. But yeah, not something I'm really thinking about right now.
