Title: Run-Time Error
Post by: AZPaul on March 20, 2005, 05:24:16 PM
Open DB application. In haste, instead of hitting "Sparisci!" on the Getting Started window I move right up to the "New Simulation" button. Can't really do anything and have to close the Sim window then hit "Sparisci!". Now at "New Simulation" I get my Run-Time Error 380 - Invalid Property Value.

I know the fix is "Paul, don't do that." So I'll try not to.

FYI.

Thanks, y'all.

Just found the "bugs" forum. I'll post futures there.  Be patient. I'll get with the progam, I promise.

No problem AZPaul.

I just moved it down here for you.

This error has been known for quite a while and while your "fix" is quite valid, it catches us all sometimes.

I believe Numsgil has this one on his to-fix list

You will soon realize that DarwinBots is very much a work in progress. There are dozens of annoying little bugs.

We will get them all eventually.

That sounds a lot funnier than you probably meant it to.

I was unaware that it was possible to set the cache value for stars  :D

Hehehehe

This is definately on my to do list.  Ideally that little window should only show up as long as you want it to.

When you get tired of it you should be able to set a control that makes it never pop up at startup again (still loadable from the menu perhaps).

Problem is that's not my strongpoint in programming, so I keep putting it off.
