Title: Sexual Reproduction Method RESOLVED 2.43.1d
Post by: rsucoop on February 10, 2008, 03:32:46 PM
I have tried building a bot with the sexrpro genes, and currently have 2.43.1.c version, and nothing happens when they should be active.

Try putting this gene in your bots.  It will make them both male and female.

start
50 .sexrepro store
-8 .shoot store
stop

Hmmm.... The commands I went with are located in the DNA of Slim Evo 3, but these seem to work as well. But when -8 shoot is placed in the genome, the simulation goes extremely slow.

Fixed in 2.43.1d.   The crossover algorithm had a serious perf problem with larger genomes.
