Don't go getting on his case Num.   :D
He came in by invitation. I've been talking to him on another board for most of the day.

I think we may have a first here.

The thread title was longer than the post.

I was being only half facetious.  I do indeed hope he becomes active, because I'd love to see the community grow.  Just wish they were a bit longer...

Yeah I know you were only messing. Same as I was.

Jetto is into MMORPG programming and is trying to set up his own board under Invision. He just dropped in here to check us out. Hopefully he might hang around and get hooked on DarwinBots too.

MMORPG programmer in practice or theory?  MMOs are some of the hardest, longest programming around.  Someone who has something mildly intersting to show for their efforts gets two thumbs up from me.

Hey [jetto]! Sweet, I've always wanted to get into game programming, MMORPG is the ultimate! Hope you stick around.
:D Ulciscor :D

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

I'm still impressed.

To get a fast overview of darwinbots, either check the home page at www.darwinbots.com, try the old webstie (google Darwinbots, it's the first link) or try wikipedia, where I've recently written an article.

Well the whole Beauty of this program, is it does not simply model changes in shape or selects a new different predifined behavior. It models generating new totaly different behaviors as complex as any computer program can get. The little robot totaly program every aspect of themselfs. Were else can you find a computer program doing a role of a computer programmer?

All using the good old Darwins theory of evolution.

You are familiar with artificial life?

If not, read the wiki article on that.

If yes, then Darwinbots is a particular instance of Artificial Life.
