Few, it took a while but I got a robot that is moving and spinning. There is hope after all.

woot? A robot won a zb round by converting body into energy since body and energy are favored disproportionately. Problem is it died after converting all of its body into energy.

Ended up reverting that bit completely and simply adjusting "Find best settings based on" slider to favor population 75% and body+energy 25%.

Is it living after victory this time round?
Autism can allow so much joy, and at the same time sadness to be seen. Our world is weird, and full of contradiction everywhere, yet somehow at moments seems to come together, and make near perfect sense.

I just overwrote the handycap with a maxout(150)
If it does not level off at some point I am considering handycaping for body again.
If that does not work I will try to put the reposition code back.
If that does not work, meh.

What about unnecessarily overcomplicating the code to factor in practically anything the bot could rely on to win :3?

offtopic: Joe Lopez reminds me of neo sometimes. Just sits late nights infront of a computer waiting for the magic answer to escape reality he does not understand.

Yes, I do think having "save epigenetic memory as a delgene" and "periodically reset epigenetic memory" was a total waste of my time but someone higher up the food chain wanted no metadata.

Successful tie feeding it seems is nearly impossible to evolve btw. At some point it might be necessary to have an even more specific mutation algorithm to help robots evolve such complex behavior.  :P
