Im running my sim with a few bots then about 10 of my zerobots (containing 20 0's on seperate lines) but it wont...do ANYTHING  :help:
Ive even tryed encouraging it by throwing it next to veggies, nothing still.  :Uhhhhh:
I want it to do atleast SOMETHING! even if it has to :plzdie: just something.

I ran 5 sims, each with 15 zero bots
I ran them for a bout 2000 cycles each (though 1 did stop at 800 cycles as the cancerous bot invaded)
I had 1 predator, Animal_Microlasis at really low numbers, and it doesnt move much so... it was a ideal predator for encouraging evolution once it had repro and move started.
Cant remember exact settings...But only once did it mutate, thats when a virus (from somewhere 0.0) shot into it, it reproduced once, both died.
Its like, wth? Really zerobot support should trigger 1st mutation much sooner, maybe if you set it at delta mutation.
Even a 1 in 1000 per cycle mutation rate, didn't work.

Personally, I am very happy with my unsupervised zerobot evolution experiment.  :)

ok but we need to have a copy of the settings through an attachment.

Well, for one 20 0's is not a lot, I had moderate success (moving, shooting and reproducing) on the order of 5,000  0's after several hours, with higher mutation rates. These things take time! Unless, of course, you are using the automatic settings. Either way, just wait a week or two, while leaving the computer running 24/7.
Evolution took billions of years. Remember that.

Oohh, my number of zero's
Someone said 3 was the minimum, so I presumed to do 20 as it was just under 10 of 3.
I'll try 6k 0's next xD

try 100 bots of 100 0s. 6k 0s is a lot and will likely slow the sim to a crawl

I did like 2.5K 0's and 10 bots again, I got instant mutations of about 3k after 450 cycles.

2.5k 0's is the magik numberz

See! Now there was a debate a while back b/w zerobots and randombots but that is obsolete now. (right?)
You could try 100 random numbers b/w -100 and 100, and compare the results after 50k cycles. I always wanted to try that, but TIME.

**RANT MODE ON***
Also, english. We may not all be from the US or Uk; I think you know where I will go on about this, but please- we are a multinational community. At least one Pole, one Swede (Swedish) and a few Russians and Ukrainians use this forum. Considering how many people are actually on here, that is A LOT. I am sure that if you use this, you are educated well enough to know formal english.

Whew! I don't men to hurt feelings, of course.

42 0's is the way to go.

You didn't name my country, it's apparently not important enough for you, I'm deeply hurt. ;)

I agree on the English rant, lately posts get harder to understand.
Oh my god, who the hell cares.
