Apparently, the pay off for having a more accurate biological system in darwinbots (talking about the introduction of chloroplasts) was slim because I never considered the exponential impact it will have on performance. Should have shut the idea down when I have seen it. Lesson learned.

Specifically, I have never imagined how much extra code it will take to balance it out in a user friendly way. That was the reason the performance tanked, not the introduction of chloroplasts themselves.
