Bots getting pulled to the bottom.
« on: September 02, 2014, 01:41:10 PM »
In this sim I have everything turned off that could cause bots to be pulled down to the bottom of the screen, yet you will see "Alga_Minimalis_Chloroplastus" getting pulled down immediately after it reproduces.

While you're at it you might want to check how the different species here handles the current decay rate of chloroplasts. That's what I was going to investigate here, but then I saw some of them getting pulled down.
The internet is corrupt and controlled by criminally minded people.

Delete your settings and saves folder. That should fix it.

That is a quick solution, I will take a look at it, don't worry.

Here is a fix, go back to y gravity settings and set to one and back to zero again. If you switch over from tidal mode this can happen. I am adding a warning to tidal mode that a user must go to settings and reset gravity and brownian.

Here is another fix, never feed robots pure energy. edit: How do you expect one vegy set not to repopulate survive in the first place? At-least feed it enough.

Here is a fix, when you update the shape settings, or any settings period while running restart modes, make sure you re-save the settings as lastexit.set. If you expect the program to crash with your changes any second make sure you also save it into lastran.set. Please also make sure you delete all non-repopulating robots, as a restart will simply add more.

Still trying to figure out where the overflow is coming from, it is being a pain in the ass.
Peter/Billy request is done.
Need to implement some ideas from Shvarz and than post a revision.

[Bump][Lamp]

I am going to get it out to you guys in the morning.
I'll save Shvarz's stuff until I get the client side update from Peter and make a clean package.
I'll write an NN bot in the mean time.
