No need- it was a virus that lodged itself into a subfolder I accidently set as hidden- I uninstalled DB, quarantined the subfolder (after I found it), and now it works perfect! The virus was nothing harmful, just a "joke program"

Darn. I have the same thing. Does that mean I have a virus too?

Edit: I just deleted the safemode and autosave folders and everything ran fine. Whew. o-o
