« on: November 23, 2013, 02:23:58 PM »
Important changes in this specific revision are:

  • Further Optimization of Chloroplasts
  • When corpse forms, Chloroplasts are reset to zero for it
  • Added chloroplast cost to F1 rules
  • Made the annoying Buoyancy Warning optional
  • Now you can disable video automatically when simulation starts
  • Slime decay rate has been changed from 2% to 1%
  • Do not prompt for IM when loading from command line
  • Mod to buoyancy storage (view help on setboy command for more info)
  • Internal help now matches external help

Slime decay rate has been changed from 2% to 1%

You mean the other way around, right? From 1% to 2%? At least that's how it looks. The more slime the faster it decays. I still think slime production is just a waste of energy for the bot though.

Well, the way it works is:

Let's say you have 100 units of slime.

Take 2% from that.

Now you have 98 units of slime.

Take 2% from that again (next cycle)

Now you have 96.04 units.

Btw, I already changed it back as we agreed that no change in necessary. Just lower your slime costs.

Slime is used to defend vs virus attacks as well as bots trying to tie to your bot.

Ok, I'll have to think of slime as something to use temporarily in an emergency instead.  :)
