I thought there was a animal minimalis included with the DB2 download, you could try that one.

Animal minimalis only spins around till it finds food. When it finds food it will go after it. If you start a sim with only animal minimalis , you'll only have bots that sit on the same place spinning around.

Does anything happen if you move a veggie close to a animal minimalis?

Could you upload a sim file, so we can look if it works correctly for us?

I'm rather clueless on what's going wrong.

(I think I may know what the problem is)

Can you double click on "animal minimalis" and click "Dna ->"

What do you see in the text-box that shows up?

I have completely uninstalled all the .ocx components DarwinBots uses on my Vista machine and then installed a fresh copy of DB2 and ran version 2.45.03Beta. I have tested "Animal_Minimalis" and it works great. Like my earlier post, I have a hunch that you did not copy the file correctly. Attached here is a working copy of "Animal_Minimalis", Enjoy.
