Im mode crashes on empty sim

abyaly:
When running a sim in IM with just 1 algae minimalis in it, I get a crash with overflow error very quickly (and consistently).
I am not getting this problem when running a populated sim in IM.

Testlund:
Did you crash the whole server I wonder? I just went up from bed to take a look at my sim and found it totally frozen up, showing 0 on everyone in the population graphs.
