fulizer:
I was thinking of making a mmo myself but I had to give up
namely there are very few free ones the only free one I could find had computer clooging goodness and took up about 200mb of my 240 mb memory stick
also I coudn't get it to work
also (again) where is it? I coudnt find the download anywhere

PurpleYouko:
It's in the Downloads section of the forums.
Also in the Announcements section

Here is a direct link to the installer
http://webfilehosting.com/9PAWNFHAHK6E/KTRose_Installer.zip

This is WAY bigger than 200 meg though.
The entire installation will take up about 1.2 gig so if space is an issue this may not be the game for you.
Having said that, it easily fits onto the 2 GIG memory stick that I bought at Walmart for 19 bucks.

If you choose to give it a shot, you can either go to our actual game website to register an account http://ktrose.no-ip.org/index.php?a=3
or just create an account at the login screen. Just type your chosen username and password. It will tell you that the account does not exist but as soon as you retype your details it will instantly create it and let you in.

I may check this out sometime, but my personal experience of MMORPG's is that you're just some character hanging around chatting with people. You may have heard of Second Life, a very promising game. I saw a lecture on YouTube about all the cool things you could do. Still I could only stand it for a day. Maybe it's just me.

Numsgil:
My favorite MMO of all time was Ultima Online.  Most other games I play for at most a month, and get bored, and never play again.  I played Ultima online, though, for probably a year all totalled, all at different times over the years.  I wish newer MMOs had followed that train of thought instead of Everquests'.

Another good MMO: Starport GE (plus it's free).  And last, A Tale in the Desert, which isn't free but it's very good.

abyaly:
Hmm. By any chance, does starport ge use the subspace engine?
